The facts as reported by those in-the-know have stated fully vaccinated individuals are no longer immune to Covid-19 / Delta and that these fully vaccinated individuals can be spreaders. The other primary issue is health and well-being. Covid-19 / Delta is making this uncomfortable. The nature of our Brotherhood is to gather, talk and share stories and break bread. Buffet meal service is interrupted and would likely have been a boxed meal. This is especially relevant to the October 8 evening since it was being held indoors at The Reception House at Raymond Memorial Golf. Mayor Andrew Ginther is signing an executive order for Columbus and a majority of Franklin County requiring face-masking for all indoor business environments. The decision to postpone had Covid-19 and its Delta variant weighing heavily on the decision. Included with the evening was a celebration of 125+1 Anniversary of the chapter's founding (1895 - 2020). The Alumni Association of Alpha-Sigma chapter of Kappa Sigma has postponed the 2021 Homecoming & Hall of Fame evening planned for October 8, 2021.
